Ruth Raflik

Ruth A. Raflik (Hilbelink), age 69 of Sheboygan went home on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice. She was born on January 10, 1947 in Sheboygan to James and Bessie (Kappers) Hilbelink. Ruth was united in marriage to Joseph Raflik on February 14, 1989 at New Jasper United Methodist Church (by Rev. Jeff Mohr), in Xenia, OH. She worked for Schultz Sav-O Stores (Piggly Wiggly) for several years as an executive engineering secretary. She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Ruth enjoyed sewing, crafts, creating Christmas ornaments for her family, bird-watching, and especially loved spending time with her grandkids. Her smile will be greatly missed.

Ruth is survived by her beloved husband, Joe Raflik; loving children, Tamara (Ryan) Koriath, Lori (Dr. Raymond) Bauer, and Cherise Raflik; cherished grandchildren, Brian, Heidi, Rachel Bauer, Sage Raflik, Shianna Mehre, Kaitlin, and Isaiah Buchholz; dear brother, Wayne Hilbelink; dear siblings-in-law, Jerry (Sharon) Raflik, Joanette Suchon, Ann Sommers, Aggie Hausman, Chet (Darlene) Raflik, Kathy (Don) Wisinski, Pat (Kathy) Raflik, and Dorothy Sankey. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Eric and Ryan Klumb; and her sister, Jean (Orin) Mayer.

Funeral Services for Ruth will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 5:00PM at the Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center (1201 N. 8th Street) with Pastor Timothy Mech officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00-5:00PM. Interment in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls are appreciated.
