Shelly Gile

Shelly M. Gile, 56, of Sheboygan, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Hospital. She was born in Milwaukee on November 11, 1959 to Dean and Margaret (Whitcraft) Gile. Her early life was spent in Oostburg and graduated from Lightfoot High School in Sheboygan Falls with the class of 1978. Shelly then went on to receive her CNA degree from MN Technical College.
It was in a nursing home that Shelly began her career as a CNA, working there for four years before moving into the home health care field working with hospice until her retirement in 2006.
Having a strong faith, Shelly was active in Ladies Bible Study groups, and she enjoyed her involvement in the Single Ladies Groups as well. Shelly also enjoyed crafts, taking walks, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Shelly is survived by her parents Dean Gile and Margaret Halbach, her son Joshua Gile, grandchildren Alexis and Isabella, by her brothers; Mike (Jenny ) Gile, Tim (Glynn) Gile, Greg Gile, Brad (Terri) Gile, and Scott (Sarah) Gile, by a sister Cheryl (Ron) Werner and close friend Shelia Miesfeld, she is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and step-father Mike Halbach.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 12:00 NOON at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center 1201 N. 8th St. Sheboygan, with Pastor John McDonald with the Evangelical Free Church will be officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Kohler. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME.
