Susan Thiel

Susan M. Thiel age 71, passed away into her eternal life on Sunday, September 4, 2016. She was born in Sheboygan on August 8, 1945 to parents Walter and Marie (Munnik) Meyer. Susan was a 1963 graduate of Sheboygan South High School. She was united in marriage on February 5, 1972 to Arno Thiel. Susan worked at Lakeland Mfg, Younkers and Rex Cleaning at Urban Middle School.
Susan enjoyed counted cross stich and camping. She loved spending time with grandchildren and babysitting grand-dogs.
Susan is survived by her husband Arno; one daughter, Debra (Michael) Tryba; two grandchildren, Ashley (David) Guillette and Austin Tryba; four great-grandchildren, Connor, Lucas, Keenan and Macey Guillette; one great-grand-dog, Ox; one sister, Rachel Schneider; sister-in-law, Marilyn Wirtz; brother-in-law, Ronald Thiel; also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and special friend Jenny VanEngen. Susan is preceded in death by her parents; one son Scott; sister, Nancy Heinemann; sisters-in-law, Nancy Thiel and Pat Thiel; brothers-in-law, Jerome Thiel, Arthur Schneider and Glenn Heinemann.
A time of visitation and support will be held at Ebenezer UCC, 3215 Saemann Ave. on Wednesday, September 7 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Memorial Service at 7:00 PM with Rev. Lorrie Steward presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Susan's name are appreciated. The family would like to thank Dr.Kumar, the nurses at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic, 3K nursing staff at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Hospital, Dr. Kamelle and neighbors, Debbie, Dave and Jenna for their care and support.
