Suzanne Marie Van Der Puy

Suzanne Marie Van Der Puy, age 89, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2025 in Sheboygan Falls. She was born in Sheboygan on September 5, 1935 to the late Peter and Hannah (Hollander) Ippel. Following high school, she married the love of her life, Richard Van Der Puy, on July 15, 1955. They settled in Sheboygan, and together they raised three children, Wendy, Todd, and Peter.

Suzanne was a member of Bethany Reformed Church, where she actively participated in the life of the church. She loved gardening, reading, and playing cards with family and friends. Above all, she loved the Lord and her family.

Suzanne is survived by her children Wendy (Edward) Arens, Todd (June) Van Der Puy, and Peter Van Der Puy. She is further survived by her grandchildren Rebecca (Alex) Arens-Alford, Joe (Clayre) Arens, and Beth, Lauren, Linden, Brandon (Hannah), and Cameron Van Der Puy, and Cassie (Zach) Simpson.

In addition to her parents, Suzanne is preceded in passing by her husband Richard, and her sister Carol (Will) Voskuil.

A funeral service will be held at Ballhorn Chapels, 1201 N. 8th St., Sheboygan, on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 3:00 p.m., with Pastor Lyle Zumdahl officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
