Tammy Aschenbach

April 23, 1971 — November 9, 2017

Tammy L. Aschenbach, 46, of Plymouth, passed away tragically at her home on Thursday, November 9, 2017. She was born April 23, 1971 in Sheboygan to Richard and Georgia "Jodee" (Carey) Aschenbach. Tammy was a graduate of South High School.
Tammy worked at Piggly Wiggly in Plymouth. She was a member of the Sheboygan Top Hats, and the South High School Choir. Tammy loved music especially country western, she enjoyed singing, cooking, shooting pool, playing Cribbage and King's Corners, and doing puzzle books. She was an avid Bears Fan. Tammy's true passion was being a Mom. She was always there for her kids encouraging and supporting them in all they did. Family and friends were important to her and she loved spending time with them creating many wonderful memories. She is loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Tammy is survived by her father and step-mother Richard and Debra Aschenbach, her children; Dominic (Victoria Baumann) Aschenbach, Ryan Aschenbach, and Elizabeth" Lizzy" Mathes, Companion James Mathes, mother-in-law Kathy Mathes, siblings; Lisa (Jay Jr.) Cook, Danna (Gary) Griessmeyer, Shawn (Kelly) Aschenbach, and Molly (Brad Fiedler) Aschenbach. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Georgia "Jodee" Flug and step-father Gerald Flug, grandparents; Dorothy and Lester Aschenbach, Alvera and Don Carey, uncles James De Vriend and Gary Bogenschutz, by cousins; Larry Jr., Greg, Chad Aschenbach, Travis and James Carey.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 7:00 PM at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th St. Sheboygan, with Pastor Brett Matz officiating. Burial will take place at Wildwood Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 4:00 PM until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Tammy's name.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the Plymouth Police Department, all the Fire Departments and their tireless efforts, the American Red Cross, the Sue Brown family, the Plymouth School District and the entire Plymouth Community for all their care and support during this tragic time.
