Terence A. Magerl

Terence "Terry" A. Magerl, age 83, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Meadowview Manor Health Services. 

He was born in Milwaukee on January 1, 1941, to the late Francis and Lorraine (Torkelson) Magerl. Terry graduated from South High School and proudly served in the United States Navy. 

On October 17, 1964, Terry was united in marriage to Nancy Abler at Holy Name Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on October 15, 2005. On December 15, 2011, Terry was united in marriage to Vera Gross. He was employed at Kohler Company for over 39 years and was a member of Immaculate Conception in Sheboygan. 

Terry enjoyed spending time with his friends and his family. One of his favorite spots to visit was Ranieri’s Four of a Kind, sipping on a Blatz beer. He will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his loving wife, Vera; children, Lisa Zenthefer and Todd (Jeri) Magerl; step-children, Tim and Joanne; grandchildren, Kristi and Robbie; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Along with his parents and first wife, Terry was preceded in death by his sister, Judith Biederwolf.

A burial with military honors for Terry will take place on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 11:00AM at St. Johns Cemetery in Elkhart Lake. 

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Terry’s name.
