Thomas J. Badura, 59, of Sheboygan, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at St. Nicholas Hospital. Tom was born May 23, 1958 in Sheboygan to Robert and Elizabeth (Federer) Badura. Tom was a graduate of North High School. He then went on to attend LTC and graduated from MSOE in 1994 as his class respondent with an electrical engineering degree. On July 30, 1983, he was united in marriage to Judith Diederich at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Sheboygan.
Tom worked at Plastics Engineering Company and was truly dedicated to his job. He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church. Tom loved to be outside; from tackling outdoor projects at home with his sidekick Barley, to downhill skiing in the winter, and water skiing in the summer, he never missed a chance to enjoy the world around him. He was an avid bicyclist, aspiring guitarist, lover of music and shows, home brew enthusiast and Sheboygan Suddzers member, Boy Scouts of America volunteer and dedicated Packers fan. Most of all Tom loved spending time with family and friends making new memories.
Everyone who knew Tom realized he was a kind soul. He was extremely selfless and always made himself available for others in need. Even near his end, he never complained about his unfortunate luck and was far more concerned about the wellbeing of those around him. His example will live on in the lives of all those he impacted and left behind.
Tom is survived by his mother and step-father Betty and Bill Kessler, step-mother Judith Badura, wife Judy, son David Badura, daughter Tamara Badura, grandson Arlo Badura, sister Janice (Richard) Schindler, niece Erin (Steve Saarinen) Schindler, nephew Colin Schindler, daughter-in-law Shannon Badura, aunts, uncle, cousins, step siblings, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Bob and step-mother Mary Badura, father-in-law and mother-in-law Wilfred and Lorraine Diederich, brother-in-law Gary, and sister-in-law Shirley Diederich.
