Versie White

Versie Mae White age 64, went home on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. She was born on December 26, 1951 in Los Angeles, CA to parents Andrew and Versa (Stiglter) White. Versie worked many years at Wigwam Mills. She enjoyed music, dancing and cooking, and most of all being with her family. Versie is survived by four children, Virl White Jr., Toni Y. White, Felicia Lisa Clavelle and Adina Engstrom; six grandchildren, Jalen Ringel, Tavirl Ringel, Nicole White, Shayla Love, P.J. Clavelle and Octavia Clavelle; one great-grandson, Kaleb Zaire Gardner-Love; one aunt, Rosie Mae Morgan; one sister-in-law, Mary Alice; three nieces, Dawn, Olivia and Madelyn; three nephews, Ricki, Bobby and Curtis, also survived by other relatives and friends. Versie is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Andrew, Bobby and Johnny White. A time of visitation and support will be held at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th Street, on Saturday, August 20 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon with Lt. Daryl Mangeri presiding. Committal at Wildwood Cemetery on Monday, August 22 at 10:00 AM. The family would like to thank the staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, especially, Lynn W. and Rochelle for their care and support.
