Vicky L. Ploetz

Vicky Lynn Ploetz, 70, of Sheboygan, died on March 30, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, with her family by her side.

Born on June 2, 1952 to Thelma (Teska) and Norman Kromanaker  in Marshfield, Wisconsin. She attended local schools. On January 16, 1971 she was united in marriage to Guy G. Karo. They moved to Sheboygan. She was employed at JL French (Nemak) for 25 years. She later worked at American Inn for 10 years.

On November 9,1984 she married her best friend, Craig A. Ploetz. Together they enjoyed 38 years of marriage.

She was a huge Packers fan, she loved going to garage sales and thrift shops looking for unique items. She loved her daily Rummy games with her husband. She loved the spring, always looking forward to LaLa Days with her husband.

Her favorite thing was every Christmas Eve eating Lutefisk and Lefsa with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Craig, children, Tim (Debbie) Karo of Appleton, Tammy Peterson and Chad Ploetz both of Sheboygan, grandchildren; April and Tyler both of Appleton, Jacob, Skyler and Ariel all of Sheboygan, great grandchildren; Cameron, Lainee, Marcy, Malcolm, Ivanna all of Sheboygan, brothers, Dale (Janice) Kromanaker, Ronnie (Janice) Kromanaker all of Marshfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jerry and Gary “Corkey” and sisters, Pam and Diane.
