Warren Daehnert

Warren H. "Pudge" Daehnert, age 77, of the town of Rhine, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday May 29, 2013. He was born in Sheboygan on April 14, 1936, a son of the late Harold and Louise (Schoen) Daehnert. He was a 1955 graduate of Central High School in Sheboygan. He served his country as a member of the National Guard. On March 15, 1958, Warren was united in marriage to the former Karen Fritz at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. Warren was the Service Manager at Bill Thomson's Motorville Inc. for 47 years. In retirement, he was employed at the Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center in plant operations. Surviving Warren is his loving wife of 55 years, Karen; his daughters, Pamela (Dave) Markgraf, Sheryl Reif and her partner, Mike Schmidt, Dawn (Kevin) Teele and his son, Peter (Shanda) Daehnert, his grandchildren: Hope Mueller, Chris (Jennie Lee) Mueller, David (Becky) Markgraf, Patrick Buckner, John Markgraf, Jenny (Fiancé Jeremy Brockman) Markgraf, Christine (Josh) Franks, Shelby Teele, Seth Christiansen, Karra Daehnert, five great grandchildren, Alyssa, Aidan, Aubrey, Amber and Christopher, his brothers and sisters,: Louise (Roland) Goosen, Margaret (Gene) Mohr, Ruth Suprick, Dorothy Daehn, Harold (Karen) Daehnert, his sister-in-law, Patsy Daehnert. In addition to his parents, Warren was also preceded in death by his brother, Donald Daehnert, a son-in-law, Mark Reif, and a brother-in-law Don Daehn. A memorial service will be held for Warren on Tuesday June 4, 2013 at 12 Noon at Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart Lake. Pastor Peter Peitsch will officiate. Friends may call on the family at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been established to Grace Lutheran Church in Warren's name. Karen and the Daehnert family gratefully acknowledge the friends, and coworkers at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center plant operations, "only good memories".
