Wesley L. Prange, 93 loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather died peacefully October 16, 2014 at Pine Haven Christian Home in Sheboygan Falls, WI. He was born March 28, 1921 in Howards Grove to parents Adolph and Bertha (Fasse) Prange. He graduated in 1939 from Howards Grove High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946 in the European Theater during WWII. Wesley was united in marriage to Irma Widder on October 2, 1943 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. He retired as a manufacturing engineer after working 39 years at the Vollrath Company. Wesley was a charter member of the Society Manufacturing Engineers since 1974. Wesley was Town of Herman Supervisor 1960-1964, Kohler Village Trustee 1971-75 and Village President 1975-1985. Sheboygan County Supervisor from 1986-1994 and Kohler Village Planning Commission 1998-2006. He was also a charter member of Howards Grove VFW Post 9924 since 1947, Kohler Police and Athletic Association since 1972. Wesley was a Kohler Kiwanis Club member, and Bethany Lutheran Church, Kohler member, serving as Elder and President. Wesley is survived by his wife of 71 years; Irma, five children; Barbara (Tom) Brenkus, of Green Bay, David (Sue) Prange of Sheboygan, Richard (Rachel) Prange of Georgetown, TX, Jeffrey (Donna) Prange of Cecil, WI and Paul (Sophie) Prange, of Wauwatosa, WI; fourteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by one brother; Norbert Prange of Howards Grove, three sister-in-laws; Mary (Bill) Poland of Germantown, WI, Audrey Widder, of Sheboygan Falls, Margaret Widder of Sheboygan Falls, and one brother-in-law; Leonard (Gerri) Widder of Sheboygan Falls. Preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Olinda (Norbert) Schomberg and Avila (Wilbert) Lenz, brother; Gaylord Rose) Prange Sr., sister-in-laws; Marion Prange, Elda (Melvin) Kalk, Norma (Delbert) Klemme, Adeline (Donald) Lorenz, Violet (George) TerMaat, brother-in-laws; Frederick, Willard and Roland (Clara) Widder. Visitation for friends and family to gather will be held on Monday, October 20 at BETHANY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 222 Church St., Kohler from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM. Memorial Service at 11:30 AM with Pastor Robert Steele presiding. Private committal at Woodland Cemetery,Kohler. A special thanks to the staff at Pine Haven, Sharon S.
