Willard C. Hiebing went home to the Lord on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Willard was born November 17, 1937 to Benjamin and Edna (Schuette) Hiebing. He attended Central High School. He served his country in the United States Army from February until August of 1957. On February 8, 1958, he married the former Jean Barts at St. Dominic Catholic Church. Willard worked at Vollrath for 38 years before retiring in 1999. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Howards Grove. Willard enjoyed fishing and hunting. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Keith (Traci) Hiebing, Elkhart Lake and Dennis Hiebing (special friend Michelle Crowder), Sheboygan; four daughters, Judith Hiebing, Sheboygan, Debra (Michael) Peterson, Plymouth, Connie Hiebing, Colorado, Wendy (Michael) Van Sluys, Sheboygan; 15 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Benjamin (Janet) Hiebing, Shawano; four brothers-in-law, James (Phyllis) Barts, Sheboygan, Delmer Barts, Greenfield, Gerald Barts, Sheboygan and Eugene Barts, Plymouth; six sisters-in-law, Mary Barts, Sheboygan, Carol (Lonny) Bigler, Wild Rose, Nancy Bender, Howards Grove, Lucette Barts, Virginia, Betty Butler, Sheboygan and Gale (Donald) Bruce, Plymouth. In addition to his parents, Willard was preceded in death by two brothers, David and an infant, one sister, Carol McInvale, six brothers-in-law, Chuck McInvale, Larry Barts, Allen Barts, Leonard Barts, Donald Bender and James Butler. A funeral service for Willard will be held Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at Zimmer's Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 & JJ, Howards Grove) with the Rev. Darrel Bergelin officiating. Friends may call on Sunday, at the funeral home, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Park.
