William M. Kopetsky, 76, of Sheboygan, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born October 7, 1939, in Two Rivers, to the late Frank and Genevieve (Laurent) Kopetsky. He graduated from Washington High School in Two Rivers in 1958. Bill started his career at Hamilton Manufacturing as a draftsman. He later moved to Sheboygan, was employed at Ebenreiter Woodworking Company for 25 years and was vice president of sales. Bill finished his career at Westshore Industries as a sales manager. On March 12, 1988, he married the love of his life, Christine Reimer, in Kohler. They enjoyed spending time in Door County and Florida. Bill was dedicated to serving the Sheboygan Evening Lions Club for 40 years, served as past president and was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellow Award. Bill cherished his family and the times he spent with them. He also enjoyed golfing, bowling, cross country skiing and watching the Packers and Badgers.
In addition to his wife, Chris, he is survived by four sons, Scott (Linda) Kopetsky, Sheboygan, Michael Kopetsky, Healdsburg, CA, Todd (Sarah) Kopetsky, Sheboygan and Daniel (Macarey) Reimer, Fitchburg; one daughter, Renee Reimer (special friend, Andy Schelk), Green Bay; seven grandchildren, Liz (Joe) Hellebusch, Sami (Jason) Kasten, Ally (Patrick) Leichtnam, Kayla Kopetsky, Aaron Kopetsky, Sylvie Reimer and Graham Reimer; seven great-grandchildren, Blaketon, Isabelle, Rhys, Max, Chloe, Genevieve and Ashlyn. He is also survived by his dear sister, Dolores Hoida, FL; two brothers-in-law, Jim (Cindy) Lacy, Gary (Lori) Lacy. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Roland and his father and mother-in-law, Jim and Lu Lacy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church (807 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan) with the Rev.
