William Pruitt, 66, passed away on October 11, 2021, in Sheboygan Falls, WI. He was born in Sheboygan on March 24, 1955, to the late Orville and Helen (Boone) Pruitt. He attended Sheboygan Christian School and graduated from North High School. He was employed at Walmart and retired in 2015.
William was reminded three years ago of how he and two friends found a boa constrictor and carried it home on their bikes and delivered it to the police. He loved getting together with his friends during his school years and explore their world within Sheboygan. He talked often about his memories of camping at Plymouth Rock Campground. William's love for camping followed as he and Anne camped often at Long Lake State Park and Kohler Andre State Park.
William always took the scenic route, no matter the destination, passing the lake was the first lag of the trip. He was a loyal Wisconsin sports fan following the Brewers, the Green Bay Packers, and the University of Wisconsin football and basketball teams. He loved following Jeff Gordon. Rarely a Sunday went by without watching a NASCAR race, until Jeff's retirement.
William is survived by his partner of 18 years, Anne Grimm; a daughter, Amber and her two children; a brother Rick Pruitt (Denise) of Green Bay; a sister Patti Jeltema of Michigan and a niece Lauren (Alex) and their two children Olivia and Everett.
He was preceded in death by his (animal) children, Buddy, Winston, Ellie and Timmy.
No services will be held at this time. William will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
